LAST GAME - 2K CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME (L, 76-54 vs. Michigan on Nov. 18): NEW YORK (AP) -- Derrick Walton Jr. hit seven 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to lead [--/RV] Michigan to a 76-54 victory over [RV/RV] SMU on Friday night in the championship game of the 2K Classic Benefiting Wounded Warrior Project. Walton, who had six assists, was held scoreless in the Wolverines' opening-round win over Marquette being saddled with foul trouble throughout the game. He didn't get a chance to play in SMU's 24-point win over Michigan last season as he missed the game with a sprained ankle. He was not only playing this time, he was hitting from 3-point range to keep the Mustangs at bay. The closest they got in the second half was 13 points when they hit two 3s to open the second half. Walton was 4-of-6 from 3 in the first half as Michigan took control right away and went on to a 44-25 halftime lead. Zak Irvin, the tournament MVP, added 16 points for the Wolverines (4-0), while Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman had 12.

Shake Milton added 14 and Ben Moore contributed 12 for the Mustangs (3-0), who shot 57 percent in the second half and 48 percent overall. Michael Young scored 22 points for Pittsburgh, which had averaged 96 points in home wins over Eastern Michigan and Gardner Webb. Jamel Artis added 20 for the Panthers (2-1). Ojeleye, who had not played in 23 months after being used sparingly at Duke, shot 9 of 17. He has 68 points in his first three games with the Mustangs. Ojeleye turned in his latest big game after going 2 of 7 in the first half when the Mustangs missed their last nine shots and trailed 33-31. The Mustangs held a 54-45 lead when Ojeleye hit a 3-pointer with about 12 minutes left. The Panthers were within 63-59 following two free throws by Young with 4:52 left but the Mustangs gradually finished it off, starting with a two-handed dunk by Moore on the next possession. Ojeleye then polished off his big night with an emphatic block of Young with about a minute remaining and converted a transition layup on the next possession.
