Day One Results
FORT WORTH, Texas (SMU) – Two Mustangs placed in the top-10 in the hammer throw on day one of the TCU Invitational.
Junior
Jacquetta Cannon opened the outdoor season with an eighth place finish after a toss of 151 feet, 2 inches (46.09m), while sophomore
Daniella Murchison placed ninth with a throw of 143 feet, 10 inches (43.84m).
Murchison pulled double duty as she finished 11 th in the discus with a mark of 119 feet, 3 inches (36.34m).
The Mustangs return to the Lowdon Track & Field Complex Saturday for day two of the TCU Invitational. The meet resumes at 9:30 a.m. CT with the women's javelin. Running events are slated to begin at 1 p.m. Live results can be found at
