University of Indianapolis: Competed in three Championship Finals at the 2015 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship, earning a top three finish in the 200-yard individual medley ... Was also part of 800 freestyle and 400 medley relays that earned a spot on the podium ... Was the runner-up in the 100 fly and 200 back at the 2014 Championship ... Team earned runner-up honors as well.

Prep: Competed at South African Nationals 2011-13 ... Was the top male swimmer three years straight at Albatross Swim Club ... Earned full Academic Colors in high school ... Also competed in water polo.

Personal: Attended Crawford College Lonehill High School and swims for Waterborn Swim Club ... Son of John and Carey ... Has three brothers and one sister ... Chose SMU because of its high stature in both swimming and their business school ... Hobbies include body surfing, watching movies and listening to music.
