2017-18 (Sr.) – Competed in 12 events, all over fences... Went 7-4-1 with one MOP... Academically, was named to the Farnam NCEA All-Academic First-Team... APHA NCEA Academic Honor Roll.

2016-17 (Jr.) – Did not compete... Earned American Paint Horse Association NCEA Academic Honor Roll accolades for maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA and full-time enrollment.

2015-16 (So.) – Competed and won in her lone event on the flat… Topped South Dakota State’s Natalie Howard 72-69… Earned La Hacienda Academic Honor Roll honors for maintaining a minimum of a 3.25 GPA.

2014-15 (Fr.) – Overall record of 1-1-0, all on the flat... Won her first collegiate point (75-73) at South Dakota State (Nov. 11)... Competed at Delaware State (March 20).

Prep: Trained under the instruction of Thomas Cerra, Donald Cheska, Denise Denahey, Russell Fry, Jimmy Torano and Katie Kappler... Honor Roll student throughout high school.

Personal: Anticipated Psychology major and Communications minor... Picked SMU for the tight knit community, beautiful campus, education and opportunity to compete for the equestrian program... Parents are Stan and Susie Banas... Father Stan was a men's golfer at Arizona State... Siblings are Rachael, Michael and Nicholas... Sister Rachael current plays lacrosse at Michigan State... Aunt Mary Banas Hess attended SMU.
