MOBILE, Ala. (Panini Senior Bowl/SMU) – SMU wide receiver Romello Brinson has announced that he has accepted an invitation to play in the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl on Monday.
Brinson earned his spot after recording 43 receptions for 638 yards for the Mustangs this season. The Florida native notched two games where he exceeded 100 yards receiving. Starting the season off right, Brinson had 11 receptions for 247 yards and three touchdowns in SMU's first two games of 2025.
The Panini Senior Bowl is the premier college football all-star game and the official first step in the NFL Draft process. For more than 76 years, Mobile, Alabama has proudly hosted this historic event, making it the longest continually running all-star game in football.
The game will take place in Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. CT. Fans can watch Brinson play on NFL Network.
