DALLAS (SMU) --- SMU Head Coach Tim Jankovich will host walk-on tryouts for the 2021-22 men's basketball team on Thursday, Oct. 7 in the Crum Basketball Center at 10:30 a.m. Students must register and submit the Enrolled Student Tryout Form (PDF), the Tryout Waiver (PDF), the Physical Form (PDF), the Orthopedic Health History Form and the Health History Form.

Please submit the forms by noon on Oct. 5th. Students need to arrive by 10 a.m. on the day of the tryouts to confirm eligibility. Students must also be enrolled at SMU full-time (12-plus hours). If you do not provide these forms or if your physical was done more than six months ago, you will not be allowed to tryout. This Physical Form (PDF) must be completed at the SMU Health Center. The sickle cell screen (hemoglobin solubility test) results must be completed prior to the tryout. 
 
Any student chosen from the tryouts would have to meet all NCAA eligibility requirements to become part of the Mustangs' roster for the season.
