The Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center (A-LEC) provides academic support and development to help Southern Methodist University students become stronger and more successful learners during their time on campus.

The A-LEC, located in the Loyd All-Sports Center at 2020 Loyd Blvd., is a popular resource for undergraduate students. It offers services to improve study skills, academic knowledge, writing, communication, and grades, helping students manage stress and become well-rounded learners.
