Teri Steer

Teri Steer was an eight-time All-American thrower, and two-time NCAA shot put champion from 1995-98. During her career at SMU, she set the collegiate shot put record. She still holds the SMU shot put record, has the third-best discus mark and the fifth-best javelin throw. She went on to win three USATF National Championships in the shot put from 1999-2002. After winning a bronze at the 1999 Pan-American Games and a bronze at the 1999 IAAF World Indoor Championships, she represented the United States at the 2000 Olympic Games.
