DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU volleyball team fell to conference foe Tulsa on Saturday 3-1 (30-20, 27-30, 30-26, 30-24) at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa, Okla. Rachel Giubilato led the Mustangs (5-9) with 15 kills and added 11 digs for her 10th double-double on the season. Kelly Larkan (10 kills and 12 digs) and Caitlin Rainbird (10 kills and 14 digs) also notched double-doubles for SMU in the loss.
Setter Madison Hill led SMU with 47 assists and tallied eight digs, while Jennette Evanco led the Ponies with 16 digs and added three service aces. Ashley Zener and Natalie Peters both chipped in with nine kills and five blocks each.
The SMU volleyball team returns to action Tuesday, Oct. 4, when they host UCF at 7 p.m. in Moody Coliseum in a match that was postponed last Friday due to Hurricane Rita. The match will have live stats available via Gametracker and live video through Mustang All-Access on SMUMustangs.com.
