DALLAS (SMU) - SMU men's soccer player Duke Hashimoto becomes the first Mustang to receive Player of the Week honors as SMU kicked off its C-USA schedule at 2-0-0. The senior scored the first goal in a 2-1 victory against UAB on Friday and nailed the dramatic game-winner with 13 seconds remaining in regulation to defeat defending C-USA champion Memphis, 2-1, Sunday. Hashimoto has rebounded from late-season ACL surgery in 2004 and tops SMU in scoring with four goals and two game-winners.
