DALLAS - Head Coach Phil Bennett and his staff will hold the first team meeting of the 2006 season on Tuesday, August 1, as 101 student-athletes report for fall camp. Four more Mustangs - Lee Gonzales, Tyler Jones, Zach Rhodes and Justin Smart - will play in the THSCA All-Star Game tonight in Austin and will report for camp on Wednesday.

The THSCA All-Star Game will air live on FoxSports Southwest at 7:30 p.m., while SMU will hold its first practice on Wednesday morning before coming back for the second half of a two-a-day Wednesday evening.

"We're excited about the season and are looking forward to getting practice started," said Bennett.

SMU will open its 2006 season on Sept. 2, when the Mustangs travel to Lubbock to face Texas Tech.
