DALLAS (SMU)--The SMU women's swimming and diving team will host the 14th annual Swimming and Diving Classic this Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. at Perkins Natatorium on SMU's campus.

The Mustangs, ranked No. 10 in the CSCAA preseason coaches' poll, will host five teams this weekend, four of which garnered top-20 rankings in the same poll. The Classic will feature nine-woman teams (eight swimmers and one diver) from each school competing in a variety of individual and relay events, highlighted by the one-meter diving competition Friday night and the three-meter diving competition Saturday night.

Traveling to this weekend's event are seventh-ranked Texas A&M, No. 15 USC, No. 16 Wisconsin, No. 21 Florida State and Alabama, who received votes in the poll.
