DALLAS (SMU) --- Several SMU equestrian team members spent time volunteering with the Angel Tree program last Sunday. The Mustangs completed the wish lists of two local teenagers by filling a basket with items such as an iPod shuffle and headphones, nail kits, makeup kits and more.

"It's great to have our team help out in the community," said SMU equestrian head coach Haley Schoolfield. "I'm extremely proud of the team and the commitment they have in helping others."

The event was planned for by team captains Claire Wenholz and Kate Wilson.

SMU equestrian returns to the track on Jan. 28, 2011 with a home game against Delaware State.
