DALLAS (SMU) – Led by sophomore
Ana Perez-Lopez, the Mustangs picked up four victories on day two of the Red and Blue Challenge.
SMU's first victory came in doubles play with Perez-Lopez teaming up with classmate
Ellie Zogg to defeat Oklahoma State's Katarina Stresnakova and Sofia Blanco, 6-4.
In singles play, Perez-Lopez continued her winning ways with a 6-0, 6-2 victory against Anna Romeka of Loyola Marymount. The Mustangs also got victories out of freshman
Charline Anselmo and senior
Macie Elliott. Anselmo defeated Ana Tkachenko of Wyoming 7-6, 6-2, while Elliott registered a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Tkachenko's teammate Imogen Clews.
The tournament will conclude Sunday at 9 a.m. with the start of double play.
