DALLAS (SMU) - The Mustangs are No. 21 in the AP Top 25 after a week at No. 16. This is the 13th straight week in the AP Top 25 after receiving votes in the first two polls. This is the third-longest streak at SMU and third-highest total in a season for the Mustangs. SMU spent nine weeks in the top 25 in 2014-15 and four weeks ranked in 2013-14. This is SMU's first season reaching the top 10 since 1984-85, when they were as high as No. 2. The Mustangs reached No. 4 in 1956-57 and as high as No. 8 en route to the Final Four in 1955-56.
