        ORLANDO, Fla. (SMU) - The SMU women's tennis team        dropped its match 4-1 against the UCF Knights in the first match of their two-match trip to        Florida.
        The Mustangs earned the doubles point with after a win from the No. 46 ITA ranked pair        of Vaszilisza        Bulgakova and Hristina        Dishkova clinching the point with a 6-4 win over UCF's Emilia Granstrom and        Caroline Eberhart. SMU's No. 3 pair of Macie        Elliott and Mary        Wright won their match over Clare Mendelll and Natalia Serrano 6-1 after No. 2 pair Dasha        Sharapova and Ana        Perez-Lopez dropped their match to Cortney Cesarini and Monica Matias 6-3.
        The Knights went on to win the first four singles matches to earn the win as Cesarini        defeated Sharapova (No. 4) 6-1, 6-2, Serrano topped Wright (No. 5) 6-3, 6-2, Diana        Dehterevich beat Perez-Lopez (No. 6) and the win was clinched as Granstrom won over        Bulgakova (No. 2) 6-3, 6-4. The No. 1 match-up of Eberhart and Dishkova along with the No.        3 match-up of Matias and Yana        Erkeeva went unfinished.
        SMU will head to Tampa for a match tomorrow morning against the USF Bulls at 10 a.m. CT,        the last of a five-match road trip.
