Mustang Nation –

On the eve of our last home men's basketball game, I want to take an opportunity to say simply, thank you.

Thank you to our men's basketball student-athletes who have displayed tremendous grace, poise and effort this season. They have represented our university with class while facing a very tough situation this year.

Thank you to our coaches and staff, who have been true leaders and role models for our young men.

And thank you to our dedicated and passionate supporters – and the City of Dallas – who have packed Moody Coliseum and who have energized our team and our university.

While we are disappointed that our season will end on Sunday, our student-athletes, our coaches and our Mustang family have shown the world just how special SMU is, something all of us who love this place know very well.

Tomorrow night, arrive early to celebrate the pregame Senior Day ceremony with Nic, Markus, Jordan, David and their families, as these young men have left an indelible mark on SMU basketball and in the hearts of so many.
