ORLANDO, Fla. (SMU) – The sixth-seeded SMU women's soccer team fell to No. 2-seed USF, 1-0, in the American Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals, Friday, at UCF Soccer and Track Complex.
USF (12-3-1) scored the matches lone goal in the 34th minute, as Evelyne Viens managed to force a turnover and finish a shot from 12-yards out.

Following their elimination from the conference tournament, the Mustangs will now await word from the NCAA to see if SMU will be an at-large selection into the national tournament. The NCAA Selection Show will be held Monday on NCAA.com.
