DALLAS (SMU) - Jackie Nylander and Isabella Tcherkes Zade won their first match to advance in the doubles draw at the Oracle Pro Series taking place at the SMU Tennis Complex. 

The duo defeated Anna Hertel (POL) and Natalia Siedliska (GER) on Tuesday in a tiebreaker, winning 2-6, 6-1 [11,9]. The win puts the pair at a 10-1 record for the fall season after winning a doubles draw at the SMU Fall Invitational, all three of their matches at the Red and Blue Challenge and advancing to the quarterfinals at ITA Texas Regionals. 

Both Mustangs also competed as wild cards in the singles qualifying draw, but dropped their matches to miss the main draw. 

Nylander and Tcherkes Zade will face Paige Hourigan (NZL) and Katherine Sebov (CAN), a pair that is seeded third in the tournament, on Wednesday sometime after 2:30 p.m. CT once the athletes have a chance to rest.
