Fort Worth, Texas – The Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) elected
Kaz Kazadi, Assistant AD for Human Performance, to the association's Board of Directors during the CSCCa Annual National Conference on May 7, 2021.
The CSCCa Board of Directors consists of 10 Master Strength and Conditioning Coaches (MSCCs), and three Special Advisers to the Board. The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the organization and its functions. The Criteria for Board Service includes: Current membership in the association; Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) Certification; and An MSCC elected by the general membership for a three year term.
Kazadi joined SMU Athletics in January 2018 and oversees the Mustangs' strength and conditioning department, while serving as the head strength and conditioning coach for the football program. In 2013, he was named the American Football Coaches Association Strength Coach of the Year and the FBS Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year by American Football Monthly. FootballScoop.com named him its National Strength Coach of the Year in 2012.
The CSCCa named Kazadi a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC) in May 2018, which is the highest honor given in the strength and conditioning coaching profession.
