DALLAS (SMU) -- The Mustangs have announced the addition of a home-and-home series with Colorado to their future schedules.

SMU will travel to Folsom Field in Boulder for the first match-up on Aug. 31, 2030, with the Buffaloes making the return trip to Ford Stadium on Sept. 6, 2031. The 2030 date will be the first time the programs square off.

The Mustangs open the 2021 slate at home against Abilene Christian on Sept. 4, and the non-conference schedule also features the Battle for the Iron Skillet against TCU in Fort Worth on Sept. 25. The slate also includes games against American Athletic Conference Champion Cincinnati, Championship game participant Tulsa, and perennial AAC power UCF, as well as in-state rival Houston.
