DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Football climbed up in both polls in the latest rankings that were released on Sunday.
SMU moved up four spots to 21st in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, while jumping up to 23rd in the US LBM Coaches Poll. The Mustangs were one of four ACC teams to be included in both polls, joining Miami, Clemson and Pittsburgh.
The Mustangs are coming off a bye week this past weekend. Prior to that, SMU secured a 34-27 road win at then-No. 22 Louisville on Oct. 5. The victory gave SMU its third straight win and first-ever road win as a member of the ACC.
The Mustangs will travel to Stanford this week for game on Saturday. Kick is set for 7 pm CT and can be seen on the ACC Network.
