Newcomer
Brashard Smith led the way for the Mustangs, earning third team All-America honors as a specialist to go with being named to the first team for the ACC for the preseason teams. Smith was an All-ACC Second Team selection as a specialist in 2023 at Miami.
RJ Maryland and
Justin Osborne were second-team selections on offense with
Roderick Daniels Jr. also making it as a specialist.
Maryland posted career bests in receptions (34), receiving yards (518) and touchdowns (7) in 2023. Osborne continues to collect preseason accolades, notching his third preseason honor.
On the third team was

Parr helped power an offensive line unit that ranked in the top 20 in FBS in scoring offense (eighth), sacks allowed (13th) and total offense (16th). Roberts highlights the four defensive selections after a breakout year last season, recording a career-best 10.0 sacks.
