DALLAS (SMU) --  A new era begins, SMU officially joined the Atlantic Coast Conference on July 1. The day included a public event at The Happiest Hour, SMU partners running specials to celebrate the move, Peruna's new conference mates visiting for the celebration and the ACC Network broadcasting from Dallas. The day concluded with the Dallas skyline lighting up in SMU colors to celebrate Dallas' team officially joining the ACC.
