MOBILE, Ala. (SMU) – The Reese's Senior Bowl announced on Wednesday that nine SMU players have been added to its 2025 watch list.
On the defensive side of the ball, defensive linemen
Anthony Booker Jr.,
Jared Harrison-Hunte and
Elijah Roberts join linebacker
Jahfari Harvey and defensive backs
Brandon Crossley and
Isaiah Nwokobia with the honor.
For the offense, quarterback
Preston Stone, running back
Jaylan Knighton and wide receiver
Jake Bailey got the nod.
The ACC ranks third among conferences with 134 players on the list, trailing the SEC and Big Ten.
The Reese's Senior Bowl is held annually and represents an opportunity for elite draft picks across the country to showcase their talent and connect with coaches and decision-makers from all 32 NFL teams. This season will mark the 76th year the event has taken place.
Last season, five Mustangs were included on the game's preseason watch list. The last SMU player to compete in the Reese's Senior Bowl was current Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice in 2022.
Booker Jr. and Harvey are picking up their first preseason accolade of 2024, while the other seven players are adding to their list of honors.
