CHARLOTTE, N.C. (ACC/SMU) – Following SMU's win over TCU, Ahmaad Moses has been named ACC Defensive Back of the Week and Brashard Smith garnered ACC Running Back of the Week accolades, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.

Moses and Smith both had breakout performances to help lift the Mustangs to a 66-42 victory to claim the Iron Skillet.

Moses tallied a career-high two interceptions, including one returned 60 yards to the house to give SMU a 38-21 lead late in the second quarter. The junior also racked up four tackles during the win.

Continuing his breakout season, Smith racked up 127 yards on the ground with a career-best three touchdowns along with 24 yards receiving and a touchdown. The senior also set a career high for all-purpose yards in a game, accumulating 190. With the mark, he has now eclipsed 100 all-purpose yards in each of the first four games this season.

Moses and Smith mark the second and third Mustangs to claim ACC weekly honors this season, as RJ Maryland captured ACC Receiver of the Week honors following the victory over Nevada.
