The Authentic Turf Silent Auction, Featuring Red And Blue Turf, Begins May 14
DALLAS (SMU) – Mustang fans can own a piece of SMU Football history from Gerald J. Ford Stadium by purchasing a piece of the field during the Authentic Turf Silent Auction. The artificial turf is being replaced by a new grass field ahead of the 2025 football season thanks to a $2.5 million commitment from mother and daughter Karen Johnson Scharbauer and Sarah A. Scharbauer.
