CHARLOTTE, N.C. (SMU/theACC.com) – The SMU volleyball team had five members named to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
The Mustangs honored were
Favor Anyanwu,
Casey Batenhorst,
Averi Carlson,
Mia Silva and
Jordyn Schilling.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a 3.0-grade point average for the previous two semesters, a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career, has to have been enrolled at the institution for at least one year, and the student must be classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's athletic contests.

Sam Erger, there have been 44 conference All-Academic honorees.
