2018-19 (Sr.): Singles: Recorded a 3-5 record including 2-1 in the dual match season ... won his first match of the season during the season opener against Prairie View ... earned a win at line three against Arkansas-Pine Bluff ... Doubles: posted a perfect 3-0 record during the dual match doubles season including 2-0 with Blaise Fagan ... 

2017-18 (RS-Jr.): Singles: Played against Midwestern State (Feb. 4) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Feb. 17). Doubles: Went 0-1 with an appearance against UTSA (March 24) with partner Gardiner Perotti.

2016-17 (Jr.): Did not compete.

2015-16 (So.) (Illinois State): Picked up first dual match singles win against Western Illinois... Finished with a 2-3 overall singles mark ... Went 1-1 in doubles.

2014-15 (Fr.) (Illinois State): Limited to only three singles matches all year because of injury … Finished the year with an 0-3 singles mark … Lost the only two doubles matches he played.

Personal: Parents are Colleen and Marc Samuels... Has one sister, Ariel... Father, Marc, played tennis at the University of North Texas... Majoring in economics... Earned Dean's List Honors at Illinois State... Also played soccer in high school... Began playing tennis at age 14... Interests include ukulele and ping pong... Favorite athlete is Tommy Robredo.
