For the first time in Mustang history, the SMU Football team will showcase custom artwork on their helmets. The SMU Mustangs will debut special helmets featuring artwork by a Children’s Health patient during their annual Spring Game on April 14. During the month of February, patients at Children’s Health created one-of-a-kind designs for the team’s helmets. 13 patients ranging from ages 6 – 17, submitted their artwork. Seventeen-year- old Amulya’s design was chosen as the winning artwork to be showcased on the helmets. You can view all the artwork submissions in the slideshow below.
