SMU Athletics

Jason Andrews joined the SMU staff in February of 2020 and serves as the senior director of creative media.

Andrews came to the Hilltop after starting his own production company and freelancing as a videographer and photographer. During that time he worked with the SMU football team for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Andrews spent four seasons as the Assistant Athletics Director for Football Operations at Arkansas State University (2014 - 2017), where the Red Wolves back-to-back Sun Belt Conference Championships in 2015 and 2016.

Andrews worked seven years (2007-2014) with the University of North Carolina Athletic Department, where he served as the assistant director of new media for the Tar Heels.

Andrews graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Communication Studies, Media Production.
