Jason Jones came to SMU in July of 2018 and serves as the head equipment manager for football.             

Prior to his time on the Hilltop, he served in the same capacity at Virginia Tech (2018) and Arkansas State (2014-18). He also worked in the TCU equipment department in various capacities from 2002-14, starting as an undergrad (2002-07), progressing to graduate school (2007-09) and finishing as an assistant (2010-14).
