After only two seasons on the Hilltop, Granson finished his career as one of the top tight ends in program history, setting the career receiving TD record by a tight end with 14 and ranking second in yards (1,257) and receptions (78) for a tight end. Granson earned invites to the Senior and East-West Shrine Bowls and went on to be selected in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.

During the 2019 season, Granson earned second-team All-AAC honors, leading all FBS tight ends in TDs (9) and yards per catch (17.4), while ranking sixth in total yards (628). Prior to coming to the Hilltop, Martin served as a senior offensive analyst for the Sun Devils after spending 2015 as an assistant coach focusing on running backs and tight ends and 2014 as an offensive graduate assistant.Â
In 2014, Martin mentored a pair of All-Pac-12 selections who helped the Sun Devils to a 91-percent conversion rate on red zone trips (12th nationally) and a national ranking of 16th in points per game with 37.0.
Prior to arriving at ASU, Martin served as offensive line coach at his alma mater, Tarleton State, helping the Texans to a share of the Division II Lone Star Conference Championship in 2013. He arrived at TSU after coaching the offensive and defensive lines at Texas Tech. Â
