Mitch Kirsch joined the Mustang staff in January of 2018 and serves as an offensive graduate assistant.

Kirsch had a standout playing career at James Madison, where he was a consensus FCS All-American and was part of a National Championship program in 2016. He was also a multi-time All-CAA and All-State selection and was named the Virginia Collegiate Athlete of the Year in 2017.

Kirsch signed as an undrafted free agent with the Chicago Bears in 2017.

Prior to arriving on the Hilltop, Kirsch served as an offensive assistant at St. John’s High School in Washington D.C.

Kirsch graduated from JMU in 2016 with a degree in public policy administration.
