Ryan Ewalt joined the SMU equipment staff in June of 2013 and currently works with the SMU football and swimming and diving programs.
Ewalt served as a personal trainer at Guaranteed Fitness from 2012-14 and was a performance specialist intern with Michael Johnson Performance in McKinney, Texas, from 2005-07, he was also a student equipment manager at the University of Arizona. Ewalt holds a certificate in Biomechanics of Resistance Training.
Outside of SMU, Ewalt assists in coordinating an annual holiday toy drive for under privileged children in the Dallas community and is a former member of the Pegasus Young Professionals Society.
Ewalt graduated from Arizona in 2011 with a degree in psychology: cognitive development and a minor in business administration. He is currently working on his M.B.A. at SMU’s Cox School of Business.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Ewalt and wife Sarah have a daughter named Jordan.
