Sarah Woodruff enters her second season on the Hilltop as the associate director of football operations. She served in the same capacity at Kansas in 2019.
Woodruff arrived at Kansas after spending the 2018 season at Georgia Tech as the program’s recruiting operations coordinator, and was previously the executive assistant to head coach P.J. Fleck at Minnesota.
This is Woodruff’s second stint at her alma mater, SMU, after serving in various capacities from 2015-17. Her roles at SMU included football recruiting and operations assistant, football operations intern and assistant event and ambassador coordinator for the university’s undergraduate admission office.
In February of 2019, Woodruff participated in the NFL Women's Careers in Football Forum where she was one of forty women selected to the invite-only forum that took place during the 2019 NFL Combine.
Woodruff graduated magna cum laude from SMU in December 2015 with a B.S. in applied physiology and sport management (health management concentration, sport management minor) and a B.A. in music (piano concentration). She also completed a master's in business administration at Kansas in July of 2021.
