SMU Athletics

Tolu Lasaki is in his fourth year on the Hilltop and his second as defensive graduate assistant. He spent the 2005 and 2006 seasons at SMU as the video G.A., after coaching cornerbacks at Colorado School of Mines in 2002 and 2003.

At Mines, he coached two Division II All-West Region corners, and defensive backs set school records for single-game and season interceptions.

Lasaki was a four-year letterman at Mines, where he was named an all-conference pick and Team Defensive MVP. He finished his career with 15 interceptions.

He holds a degree in engineering from Mines and added an MBA from SMU in 2006.
