Dan Porcic is in his second season (2024-25) as a Graduate Assistant with SMU.
Porcic played his freshman and sophomore seasons (2019-21) at Concordia in Bronxville, New York before playing his final two seasons at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx (2021-23). As a junior, he made First-Team All-Skyline while averaging 18.6 points and 6.0 rebounds. He graduated from Mount Saint Vincent in May of 2023 with a bachelor's in Business Administration.
During his prep career, he played at Putnam Science Academy in Putnam, Connecticut under Tom Espinosa and Josh Scraba. In 2018, he was part of the team that won the program's first National Prep Championship. He graduated from Putnam Science Academy in 2019.
Porcic is working toward a master's degree in the Sports Management Program at SMU.
