Joe Popovich Jr. is in his second season (2019-20) as a graduate manager after spending four years as a student manager at Creighton.
His responsibilities with the Mustangs include coordinating film exchange, helping coordinate on-campus recruiting, preparing scouting reports, overseeing the undergraduate managers and assisting with SMU?Basketball School.
As a manager for the Bluejays, Popovich’s duties included assisting in daily practices, maintaining the team’s equipment, distributing recruiting materials and hosting visiting teams during practices.
While in Omaha, Popovich also worked Coach Greg McDermott’s basketball camps.
Popovich, a Jersey City, New Jersey, native, graduated from Creighton in 2018 with a degree in Marketing.
