Mia Kaufman is in her second year (2025-26) as a graduate assistant with SMU Men’s Basketball.
She spent the previous three seasons (2021-24) as a student manager for the University of Southern California men’s basketball program under Coach Enfield. Prior to USC, she attended Coronado High School (NV), where she was heavily involved in prep and grassroots basketball. Her father, Jeff Kaufman, is the long-time boys’ basketball coach at Coronado HS. She also worked in the front office for West Coast Elite Basketball and West Coast Elite Under Armor where she helped organize and run their grassroots events and oversaw NCAA compliance.
A Las Vegas native, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California with a B.A in Law, History, & Culture and a B.A in Psychology. She is enrolled in SMU’s Dedman School of Law and working towards a Juris Doctor degree.
