SMU Athletics

Grace is entering her third season (2020-21) as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the SMU Sports Medicine Team. Grace will be providing care to the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams.
 
In addition to her responsibilities with Swimming and Diving, Grace serves as the SMU Concussion Officer. Grace is also in charge of the Medical Scribe program within the SMU Sports Medicine department, which provides opportunities to give SMU students experience in the collegiate Sports Medicine setting. 
 
Grace serves as a clinical preceptor for the University of Texas-Arlington Master’s level Athletic Training program. 
 
Before joining SMU, Grace received her Master's degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Florida where she worked with the women's gymnastics team as well as provided care to sport club athletes through RecSports. Prior to University of Florida, Grace completed her undergraduate degree at Purdue University, where she worked with football, wrestling, and men's and women's tennis. Grace has been able to work in a variety of settings as an athletic trainer, including Camp Woodward and with Varsity Spirit Brands.
 
Grace is a native of Lafayette, Indiana and currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
