Grey Hamilton joined the SMU coaching staff as a volunteer assistant prior to the 2020-21 season. Hamilton was a four-year starter at the University of Mississippi before starting his professional career.
At Ole Miss, Hamilton led his teams to four straight NCAA Tournaments. During his senior season, Ole Miss advanced to the Final 16 (third round). Hamilton earned a degree in business administration, concentrating in entrepreneurship. He earned Dean’s Honor Roll, SEC Honor Roll and ITA Scholar-Athlete awards during his career.
After graduation, Hamilton joined the International Tennis Federation and played in more that 20 professional tournaments. Prior to joining SMU’s staff, Hamilton spent time as a volunteer assistant at his alma mater.
