Crouch joined the Mustangs in 2021 from Sarasota Crew in Sarasota, Fla. where she served as the junior men's varsity coach from 2012-21.
In her first season on the Hilltop, Crouch helped SMU to a second straight sweep of all four races at the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Championship. The Mustangs finished 12th overall at the NCAA Championships with the 1V8+ in 11th, 2V8+ in 10th and the V4+ winning the C final for 13th. The second varsity eight was named AAC Boat of the Year, and the coaches won AAC Staff of the Year. SMU had eight All-AAC honorees with five first-team selections. Three Mustangs were named Pocock/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-Americans, the most in program history.
Prior to SMU, Sarasota won both the USRowing Southeast Regional Championships and Florida State Championships eight years running from 2012-19, while also tallying the longest current podium streak in the men's eight at the USRowing Youth National Championships from 2013-19. The program's lightweight eight also earned Sarasota's first ever podium finish in the event in 2019, finishing second.
Over 20 of her Sarasota athletes have represented the United States at the World Rowing Junior Championships with seven podium finishes, including two-time gold medalist Clark Dean.
In 2018, she was named the Men's Coach of the Year at the Saratoga Junior Coaching Conference in Saratoga, N.Y.
During her time at Sarasota, Crouch also served as regatta director from 2019-21, overseeing the Indoor Sprints, American Youth Cup Series and Florida West Districts events.
Crouch was on the coaching staff of the USRowing men's junior national team from 2017-21, with her U17 crews medaling in all sweep and sculling events at the 2017 and 2018 USRowing Club National Championships.
She began her coaching career with the men's rowing team at the University of California San Diego from 2008-11. UCSD's 2008 men's varsity eight took first place in the Cal Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic and second place at Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championship. In 2009, her junior varsity eight finished first at the WIRA Championship.
Crouch was a varsity coxswain at San Diego State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 2008. She holds a USRowing Level II coaching certification and is an Iya Kin certified 200 level yoga instructor. Crouch has been a presenter at the Joy of Sculling and Saratoga Junior Coaching conferences.
She has two daughters, Zoie and Sloane.
