Megan is in her third year (2017-18) as an athletic trainer for SMU. Her primary sport responsibilities are rowing and women’s tennis.
Megan is passionate about providing high quality healthcare to athletes of all sports, ages, and levels of ability. She has been a healthcare provider for Team USA (Taekwondo, Judo, Cycling/BMX, Paralympic Track and Field, and the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center). She has served as an athletic trainer for the Monster Energy Motocross Series, Ragnar Race Series, and BMX Supercross World Cup Series along with other extreme sports competitions. She also enjoys working with adaptive athletes and veterans.
Megan is originally from Nacogdoches, Texas. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Stephen F. Austin State University and her master’s degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
