Prep: Four-star prospect from Dynamic Prep in Irving, Texas... Ranked No. 38 by ESPN, No. 45 by On3 and No. 47 by 247 Sports... As a senior, he averaged 15.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 blocks as Dynamic Prep advanced to the Chipotle Nationals title game and was No. 1 ranking in the final National Top 10 high school rankings... As a junior, Toombs was listed as high as No. 6 nationally at center and as high as No. 3 overall in Texas... He was on the 2024-25 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Boy's High School Player of the Year watch list... He has been part of the USA Basketball program since 2022 and was invited to the USA Junior National Team minicamp in October of 2024... He was previously a finalist for the USA Basketball U16 national team and U17 national team... As a junior at Dynamic Prep, he averaged a double-double of 12.8 points, 10.3 rebounds with 2.4 assists and 2.3 blocks as the team went 23-1 to finish ranked No. 16 nationally in the SCNext Top 25...  Part of SMU’s 2025 high school signing class ranked as high as No. 4 nationally and overall signing class ranked as high as No. 15 nationally, both program bests.
