Prior to SMU: Played club soccer for Classics Elite... Was a four-year letterwinner and captained the team her last three seasons... Named district Offensive MVP in 2008, 2010 and 2011... Selected tothe 2010 and 2011 San Antonio Express News Super Team and was their 2010 4A MVP... Named to the All-Region team in 2011... Also lettered in cross country.
Personal: Anticipated business marketing/advertising major... Chose SMU because she enjoyed her visit when her mother, an SMU alum, brought her to campus... Enjoys traveling, country music, tennis, fashion and concerts... Lists Colt McCoy as her favorite athlete... Parents are Kevin and Lynn Canty... Has two sisters.
