Meagan Surrency enters her fourth season (2012) with the Mustangs. She was named an assistant coach for SMU women's soccer, on July 14, 2009.
Surrency served as the mental conditioning coach at the IMG Academy while completing her master's degree from the University of Florida in Human Performance with a specialization in Sport Psychology in May of 2009. She played at Jacksonville from 2003-06 where she was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team each season, and helped the Dolphins reach the 2006 NCAA Tournament. Surrency graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology and Exercise Sciences in 2007.
At IMG, Surrency developed mental conditioning programs while working with soccer, baseball, basketball, golf and tennis athletes and coaches. Surrency also provided video analysis for the athletes.
