Brian Chepulis was named Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Operations by Director of Athletics Damon Evans in May of 2025.Â

Chepulis oversees the facilities and event operations staff as well as the management of SMU Athletics' facilities. He is also be involved in capital projects and serves as liaison to the Office of Facilities Planning & Management, Risk Management, IT, Parking, P.D. and more.
He came to the Hilltop after four years at American University as Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities & Operations. He previously spent six years at Maryland as an assistant director for the Facilities, Operations, and Events office and three years at Towson as the assistant manager for facilities and events.
Chepulis graduated from Towson with a degree in sports management. He earned his master's in sport administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2013.Â
