Brian Moore grew up in Rockwall, Texas, and has been passionate about athletics and performance from a young age. He began his gymnastics career at just four years old and continued training throughout high school. In addition to gymnastics, Brian showcased his versatility by competing in all-star cheerleading and also earned a World Championship Dance title in Hip-Hop.
After high school, Brian went on to cheer at Navarro College, where he helped lead the team to a Collegiate Grand National Championship during his two years there. He then transferred to Texas Tech University, earning his bachelor’s degree in Human Development while cheering for three more years and contributing to two Grand National Championship titles—the first in Texas Tech history.
After college, Brian transitioned into a career in Real Estate and collegiate coaching, where he has shared his experience and passion for athletic excellence in a variety of coaching roles. Now married to his beautiful wife, Madison, and living in Dallas, Brian is thrilled to be part of the SMU Cheer program as the Skills Coach, helping guide and develop the next generation of championship level athletes during this exciting time for the program.
