    Graduate Assistant / Football Relations
Britney Doan is entering her third season overall with SMU Football, first as a graduate assistant.

Currently, she serves as the Football Relations Graduate Assistant, a position she began in 2025, where she supports key areas of the program, including player development, staff and family engagement, official visits, community outreach, and onboarding for incoming student-athletes. She began working with the Mustangs in the spring of 2023 as a Recruiting Assistant before transitioning into this position.
 
During her time in recruiting, she helped enhance SMU’s on-campus experience for prospective student-athletes. She contributed to the planning of official and unofficial visits, recruiting events, and game days. She also assisted with recruiting travel, camp logistics, and worked alongside external partners to support the recruiting effort.
 
Britney graduated with a BBA in Marketing from SMU in December 2024 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Management from SMU’s Cox School of Business.
